Simone wanted more from life than grazing. So, when she turned nineteen she packed her belongings, gathered her hopes and set off for the great wide world. The herd all said, “Oh, she’ll be back soon enough.” They were wrong. Simone followed her heart’s desire and it took her far from home.

Along the way she met a gaggle of geese hailing from Trinidad. They too longed to see something of the world. Together, Simone and the geese sailed Simone’s miniature ship around the Horn of Africa and up to the Red Sea. They settled in Somalia where they filled their days with leisurely swimming and roasted peanuts.
