Donovan Doolin converted the wood tool shed in the back of his garden into a tiny gymnasium. There he spent every free hour exercising and training as a boxer. Since he could interest none of his neighbors to fight him, he confined himself to shadow boxing. Years passed and Donovan grew quite adept at it.

One evening as he was returning home from his job at the factory, he found a bill advertising an upcoming shadow boxing tournament. He signed up and soon the day of the big bout arrived. He entered the ring and squared off with his shadow. The shadow was quick to move and knocked out Donovan in less than a minute.
