Suite for Rooster with Marachas and White-tailed Prairie Dog with Castanets handmade collage

Owning the roadside fruit stand affords me time to drink heavily and to dabble in music composition. Of the pieces that I have written none has excited me more than my latest one. Penned at a feverish pace (in fact I had a fever of 104ºF at the time...one of the occupational hazards of working with prairie dogs), Suite for Rooster with Marachas and White-tailed Prairie Dog with Castanets is my nod to personal idols, Bela Bartok and host of Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom, Marlin Perkins. The work will have its premiere this Friday night at Symphony Center. I hope you can make it. Reservations and rabies shots are recommended.
